What is Bugflows? Speed Up Bug Resolution with a Pinch of AI/ML

If you've ever watched a JIRA ticket bounce around like a hot potato between teams, you’ve felt the pain we’re solving.

Bugflows is a dead-simple AI/ML layer that learns from your historical bug reports—then auto-fills fields like Assignee, Priority, Resolution, and even Fix Date based on just the bug Summary. Yeah, really.

This isn’t another bug tracker. It sits on top of your current workflow (JIRA, Bugzilla, YouTrack), learns silently, and starts suggesting accurate field values, cutting hours of manual triage.

I once saw a team waste 3 days figuring out who owns a bug. With Bugflows, it’s 3 seconds.

Step 1: Access the Bugflows Demo

Once you're on bugflows.com, simply click the “Demo” button at the top-right corner of the homepage. This takes you to our secure, interactive AI demo page — no installation or setup required.

Step 2: Sign In with Email and OTP

To get started, enter your email address. You’ll receive a one-time password (OTP) directly to your inbox. Enter this OTP to verify your session. No account creation or password needed — just a quick and secure login.

Step 3: Upload Your Bug Data as a CSV

Once you're on the demo dashboard, click the “Choose CSV File” button to select your bug data file. We recommend formatting your CSV with columns like: summary, assignee, priority, resolution. You can use Google Sheets, Excel, or Notepad to create it.

After selecting your file, hit the “Submit” button to begin training your custom AI model.

Sample CSVs

summary,assignee,priority,resolution
Login fails after session expires,Alice,P1,Fixed
API returns 500 on GET /users,Bob,P2,Fixed
Slow load time on dashboard,Charlie,P3,WontFix
App crashes on iOS 14.5,Alice,P1,Fixed
Broken image link in footer,Bob,P4,Fixed

Step 4: Watch the Status Box (Real-Time Feedback)

Once your upload is submitted, a small status box will appear in the bottom-right corner of the page. It will keep you informed of the progress with live updates: Waiting → Queued → Processing → Success.

This helps you track everything without refreshing or guessing. It’s like a mini live assistant working in the background.

Step 5: Get Redirected or Notified

If your file is small and the training is fast, you’ll be automatically redirected to the predictions page when the model is ready. If your file is large, you’re free to close the tab or continue browsing — we’ll email you once your model is trained.

Even if your session expires, just sign in again with your email and OTP — you won’t need to re-upload anything. You’ll land directly on the prediction page.

Step 6: Enter a Bug Summary to Get Predictions

Now that your model is trained, just type any bug summary into the input box and click “Submit”. The AI will instantly analyze it and predict fields like Assignee, Priority, and Resolution — tailored to your data.

The same bottom-right status box will guide you through the prediction process just like during training.

Step 7: Get Results — Even If You Step Away

Just like training, predictions can run in the background. Whether you stay on the page or leave, we’ll notify you by email when your predictions are ready. You can explore other areas of the site — and still be in control.

Once processing is complete, your prediction results will be clearly displayed, giving you instant, actionable insight — all without lifting a finger twice.

What’s Happening Under the Hood?

Once you upload the CSV:

  • We train a lightweight ML model behind the scenes on your sample
  • When you enter a summary, we run predictions on Assignee, Priority, and Resolution
  • Think: a mini personal AI/ML that “remembers” your team’s habits

All of this runs on a zero-setup pipeline. No config. No logins. No headaches.

Why This Matters

Bugflows isn’t just a “cool demo.” It’s built for real dev teams. We’re already seeing teams reduce their triage time by 70%+. One early user said it “felt like autocomplete for bug triage.”

It’s not magic. It’s just well-trained data, doing what it’s supposed to do.
